RELIGIOUS ELEMENTS AND CONCEPS IN BAGDATLI RUHI’S DIVAN

Bagdatl? Ruhi is one of the 16th-century poets. It is one of the poets of lore who became famous as Bagdadi because of its birthplace in Baghdad. The only known and existing work of his Ruhi, which is among the most famous poets, is the divan. Although he has many poems expressed by sufism, he is not sufi. It seems that the poet, who seemed to be under the influence of the classical Turkish poetry tradition in terms of religious concepts, wrote poems with a sincere faith. Based on the intensive use of religious terms and concepts he considers, it is seen that Ba?datl? Ruhi Divan has a religiously rich content. As a result, in this study, it was tried o determine and evaluate the characteristics of Bagdatl? Ruhi with which characteristics he discusses religious elements and concepts. Under each subject, the general opinion in our literature, along with the religious manifestments of Ruhi’s poems, and these are exemplified by the couplets.
