RELIGION AND SOCIETY IN TURKEY FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF LAICISM: YESTERDAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW OF LAICISM IN TURKEY

Theaim of this study is tohave a look at the institution of religion with in the framework of laicism. In this respect, a general religious analysis of the citizens of Republic of Turkey from the Otoman Empire to the current day was conducted and predictions regarding the issue were made. Besides, the issue was handled from a framework of conflict regarding the events that came to prominence in the perspective of laicism versus Islamism, supported by quantitative data and concluded.
