The community home which were found in 19 February 1932 in 14 cities, and reached the number of 478 in 1950, the main purpose of the community home is create and form to a new individual and community through Kemalist ideology. These enterprises, which were operating nearly at every corner of Turkey, fulfilled an extremely crucial mission in order former its of republic to reach to the large crowds of public. In the governence of Democrat Party, the criticisms started against the community home and the process of closing of community home was brought to agenda in this period. In this study, the process of the closing of community home and the reflections of this process to theTurkish press will be emphasized, the approach of Turkish press to the subject will be examined.
