RAHMENTROMMEL AND OTHER VERSATILE PLAYS COMMON USED INTERNATIONAL MUSIC TERMS AND SIGNS

Abstract

Author(s): Muslum AKDEMIR

The fact that Rahmentrommel, a world music played on a wide geographical area, is not included in international terminology is also a matter to be solved. For this reason, it is necessary firstly to understand international common terms and signs and to make them according to needs. For this reason, it is important to study the performance of traditional Turkish music with its attitude and characteristics. In this context, it is necessary for the artists who perform Turkish music percussion instruments in the international music field to have sufficient knowledge about the international music terms and signs in which the Rahmentrommel instrument is included. By supporting creative thinking, the necessity of more artists to write in compositions to be written and the desire to educate professional artists without moving away from traditional attitude has made this work obligatory.
