In the globalized world, corporate governance becomes more and more important. Corporate governance includes the relationships between management of the company, board of directors, shareholders and stakeholders. The corporate scandals have caused the investors prefer companies that have adopted the corporate governance disciplines while making investment decisions. The aim of this study is to make a broad literature review on the principles and standards of corporate governance and its practices in Turkey.
