PRESCHOOL TEACHERS’ VIEWS AND ATTITUDES ON TELEVISION VIEWING HABITS OF CHILDREN 4-6 AGES

This study aims to measure the opinions and attitudes of preschool teacher on 4-6 years old children’s TV viewing habits effects of their daily lives and behavior. In this context, a survey was conducted with 23 Preschool teachers in Adana, Turkey. According to the survey, preschool teachers have negative opinions for TV viewing habits on activities of daily living and behavior preschool children. However, these level of negative opinions and attitudes among preschool teachers aren’t similar in different professional experiences. As the increase of professional experience the degree of negative opinions and attitudes also increasing.
