Author(s): Şükrü İNAN

Regionalization is an important process in reorganizing production, consumption and distribution depending on the changes in international political economy. Regional trends from narrow regions to localized, national and international areas and from loose integration to tighter integration are directly related to world economy and policy. Therefore regional integration phases should be evaluated within the changes in the world political economy and effects of regional integrations to global political economy. In that context, new regional integration phases are introduced as: Political Empire Regional Integration, Nation-State Regional Integration, Mercantilist Regional Integration, Imperialistic Regional Integration, Hegemonic Regional Integration and Post-Hegemonic Regional Integration. In this study, as a second part of the previous article, processes of Imperialistic Regional Integration, Hegemonic Regional Integration and Post-Hegemonic Regional Integration in the international system are evaluated comparatively in terms of providing political and economic security, wealth effect and influences on other regional integrations.
