PHILOSOPHICAL AND LINGUISTIC REVIEW ON GERCEK AND HAKIKAT WORDS

"Gerçek” and “hakikat” are concepts that both in philosophy and in linguistics semantic debate on. In this study, the "gerçek” and “hakikat” about the opinions of researchers in the assessment movement words, definitions and distinctions have been made about concepts. These statements are discussed in the first part of the study as philosophical, are discussed as linguistic in the second section.Over the centuries, these quarrels "gerçek” and “hakikat” have been considered as expressions same meaning in Turkish. The history of this concept in Turkish text “gerçek, hakikat and do?ru” meaning, was met with “kirtü,kerti, köni,ç?n” . Turks are reflected by changes in religious language accepted Islam in the 11th century. As a result, the “hakikat and rast” words have taken part in the presence of Turkish through borrowing. Language relations that occurred as a result of cultural contact, led to the juxtaposition of the words belonging to different languages expressed in Turkish vocabulary. Islam intensifying the impact of Arabic and Persian influence in reducing the frequency of use of the words “köni and ç?n” has dominated the “gerçek” and “hakikat” words.
