PERCEIVED SOCIAL SUPPORTBY SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

In this research, the social support perceptions of secondary school students were aimed to be studies. The research’s working group was consisted of 429 girls and 310 boys, totally 739 students who study in Tokat city center secondary schools of 6th, 7th and 8th grades in 2016-2016 educational year. "Prov ision of Social Relationship Scale", which was developed by Turner, Frankel and Levin (1983) and adapted in Turkish by Duyan, Gelbal and Cal?kvar (2013). Datas were analized by Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskall-Wallis H test with the use of SPSS programme. In the statistically calculation of the datas, for the comparison of two groups Mann-Whitney U test, for the comparison of groups more than two Kurskall-Wallis H test and with this test for determining groups which have difference in binary groups Mann-Whi tney U tests were applied. There were significant differences between the groups according to class, parental education status, family income, number of sibling.
