PARENTS' VIEWS ON THE FAMILY LIVES IN THE CORONA-VIRUS (COVID-19) OUTBREAK PROCESS

The aim of this study is to examine the views of parents about their family life in the home environment during the Covid-19 outbreak that spread around the world in late 2019. Case study, one of the qualitative method, was used in the research. As a data collection tool, opinions of 26 parents, including 19 mothersand 7 fathers determined by the appropriates now ball sampling method, were received through the online form. The data obtained wer eanalyzed by content analysis. As a result of the analyzes, it was seen that parents were affected both positively and negatively by this process. Parents' views expressed as negative effects of this process are discussed under three categories: psychological problems, health problems and education problems. The views expressed by parents as a positive effect of this process were examined under the category of increased family interaction. Considering the results of the research, extensive research is needed about which variables of family, parents and children affect these results.
