Zygmunt Bauman, one of the most important social theorists of the 20th and 21st century, Liquid Modernity theory has been the subject of many areas. Bauman emphasized that the environment of uncertainty and insecurity together with the fears that individuals have experienced gave rise to liquid modernity. Prior to the theorizing of liquid modernity, Bauman made a harsh criticism of modernism. He, thought that power managed violence. Although postmodern period seems to be the salvation of totalitarianism in modernism, Bauman thought that the postmodern period is not very different from modernism, and even makes the life of individuals more uncertain
