OTTOMAN ADMINISTRATION ON JEWISH AND MUSLIM HACILAR IN THE PALESTINE(1555-1591)

In terms of analyzing and understanding the unique administrative structure of the Ottoman Empire, which has existed in the Palestinian territories for centuries, Mühimme defters are one of the valuable resources of the Ottoman archives. Because these books contained many de cisions of military, political, economic and social issues at Divan meetings. ?n this respect, Mühimme defters are used extensively in historical researches related to the Ottoman administrative system. In this study, the provisions related to Jewish and Muslim Hac?lar in Palestine in the Mühimme books were examined and XVI. relations between the Ottoman Empire and the Holy Palestine in the second half of the century were presented in terms of the Ottoman administrative system. In addition, the region, the names of the historical process, the geography and the transition process to the Ottoman was also touched on.
