OPINIONS OF EXTRA-NORM TEACHERS WORKING IN SPECIAL EDUCATION PRACTICE SCHOOLS ABOUT SPECIAL EDUCATION AND SPECIAL NEEDS STUDENTS

This research aimed to examine the opinions of teachers who are working in Special Education Practice Schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education towards the students with special needs and special education. This research was carried out with phenomenological pattern, which is one of the qualitative research models. The study group of the research consists of 8 excessive norm staff teachers who work in Special Education Practice Schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in Ankara in 2019-2020 academic year. Semi-structured interview form was used as a data collection tool to obtain research data. The voice recordings of the interviews were made with the permission of the teachers. Content analysis was made with the data obtained from the interviews and a section analysis technique was applied from the content analysis.
