ON THE REPITITIONS IN YUNUS EMRE DIVAN

The verbal treasure of the language includes all of the basic vocabulary elements in the language, foreign words, repititions, idioms, proverbs, routine words, and narrative routines. The repititions which are the elements of the vocabulary of Turkish have been widely used in Old Anatolian Turkish as well as in all periods of the Turkish language. Yunus Emre Divan, which is one of the works of Old Anatolian Turkish period, contains information about the vocabulary of the period. During the study, Yunus Emre Divan will be subject to an examination in terms of language. In this study, the repititions in Yunus Emre Divan will be investigated classifying by Word origin. Turkish origin repititions will be categorized according to their suffixes. After this classification, the repititions formed with borrowed words and the repititions formed with borrowed structures will be dealt and these structures will be introduced with examples. The citation composition between the two Turkish words will then be given with examples. As a result of the scans carried out in the study, the repititions formed by up to two Arabic words in the Divan were determined. It is seen that the simple repititions mostly formed by nouns are used in Turkish dilemmas. In the work, the number and usages of the repititions contributing to the vocabulary of Turkish were also determined.
