NECİP FAZIL KISAKÜREK’S POEM ‘ÇİLE’ (ANGUISH) AND ITS ANALYSIS

Necip Faz?l K?sakürek (1904-1983) is one of the 1923 Generation poets in Turkish literature during the Republican period. Although very compelling poets have grown in the Turkish poetry of this period, Necip Faz?l K?sakürek is just one of the unindoctrinated poets wiht his works penned, his mission owned and his fame justifiedly obtained. One poem personally identified with K?sakürek’s name is ‘Kald?r?mlar’ (Sidewalks), the other is ‘Çile’ (Anguish). As it was made interpretations and analyses on the other poems of the Poet in Turkish literature, it was made also interpretations and analyses on his poem ‘Çile’ (Anguish). However, this long poem consisting of 28 quatrains are not addressed in a wide format from language and style as a whole. In this article, Necip Faz?l K?sakürek’s poem ‘Çile’ (Anguish) has been taken as a whole and has been analyzed from literary point of view.
