As other important paradigms directing all dynamics of the social life, globalization has also a significant influence over musical life of the world. It’s easy to observe the globalization effect on many aspects of the musics of the world such as sounds, new genres, audiences, concerts, etc. This stuation is interpreted differently by diverse apphroaches to globalization. While some of them regard the globalization as standartization and homogenization process, others consider as a producer of a space where the local and ethnic elements find opportunity to express themselves across the world. This study aims to investigate the relationship between music and globalization in the World Music case. For this purpose, firstly, different approaches to globalization will be reviewed. Then the relation between culture and globalization will be discussed, and lastly will be searched an answer the question of "Is there music of globalization or globalization of music?"
