Comprehension of the intention of imagination and feeling, expressing these elements are very important in terms of social values. That’s why poets are individuals who functions as the voice of the society. It is poets that work many subjects and the most serene of the loves mother subject and reflect to the society. Mother love of Hilmi Yavuz can be seen in the poems of “hilmi’nin çocukluu”, “kanto”, “akam ve çocuk”, “annem ve akam”, “akam ve kandil”, “yüzümdeki çöl”, “akam ve Lavinia” and “yolculuk ve güz”. The poem in which the mother love is referred in the most intensive way by the author is “annem ve akam”. In this work, the perception of life of Hilmi Yavuz how he reflects the mother love to the life will be studied.
