Author(s): İsmail Hakkı DİNÇAY

Changing working life competition has brought psychological pressure on employees who work naturally. Although this psychological pressure factor was initially tried to be explained with different concepts, today psychological harassment in the workplace is called mobbing as a scientific approach term. Mobbing has started to appear not only as an adverse effect on individuals but also as a negative factor that prevents organizations and companies from reaching their goals. Over time, this adverse effect brings with it negative consequences that result in the organization's termination as the goals do not come true in terms of organization, while the burnout syndrome and the disconnection with the workplace come to the point. In this study, the definition, scope, types, causes, elements, effects of mobbing, which is an institutional risk factor, were tried to be evaluated at the same time and the legal dimension.
