Although ?mâmet issue is considered as a subsidiary topic in Islamic kalam, it is one of the most important several issues forming the basis of kalamic debates and sect separations. Because, the characteristic features, methodologies and systematic structures of both individuals and of religious groups gathering individuals around become clear according to their approach style to this issue and answers they give to the questions arouse due to the issue. One of the foremost sects entering into a discussion on imâmet issue is Asharism. Asharism sect concentrated its views and criticism on Shiah and Shiah sects. In this article, we will try to submit Asharism sect and on the issue of caliphate.
