MIMETIC DESIRE IN MEDIEVAL ROMAN TRISTAN AND ISEUT

In this study XIIth century French literature and French royal literature is issued and also on the other hand the medieval roman which is named as Tristan and Iseut is subjected to the examining. The work is belonged to the XIIth century will be examined by a modern critical theory of mimetic desire. The theory which is based on the relations between the narration characters, essay to prove the existence of a third person as a mediator. It will be essayed to determine René Girard’s triangle of the desire proposal in the narration with the critical examining essay which is practiced by staying true to the method.
