MÂHÛR FORM YASAWIYYAH

Ahmed Yesevi is a religious and Sufism leader who helped the establishment and development of Islamic belief among the Central Asian Turkish tribes. He had a long-term influence in almost all Sunni Turkish regions with his Turkish origin and his comfortable use of Turkish. His poems, collected in Divân-? Hikmet, which consists of his moral and mystical poems in Turkish, had a profound influence on the public. The wisdoms - in which significant harmony elements were used- were almost written in a dhkir rhythm, were in the limelight, and hymned accompanied by music. In this work, it’s firstly informed about Ahmed Yesevi and his works . Then, it’s referred to Ahmet Hatibo?lu, who has many contributions with his students to Turkish music through his composition, performance, theoretical works, and his compositions and it’s aimed to increase the recognition of his work of Mahur Form(Yasawiyyah). It’s analyzed the maqam, form, and methods of Mahur Form (Yeseviyye), which was composed of Divan-? Hikmet as a new form and consists of 20 parts. In the light of the findings; it was seen that the maqams of Mâhûr, Segâh, Segâh Mâye, Çargâh, Evç, Nihâvend, Hicâz, Nikriz and Rast were used in the parts of the work. In addition, the transition and flavors of Bûselik, Ni?âbur, U??ak Hûzî, Müstear and Hüzzam were determined. In the Mâhur Form (Yasawiyyah), in which forms such as Münâcât, Hymn, Tevhîd and Salâvât were used, it has been determined that great rhythm were not used beside the rhythmless parts, but the small ryhthm of Nim Sofyan, Sofyan and Düyek were used.
