Determining the pre-service teachers' metaphoric knowledge can help to find solutions to the meanings they place in this process, to find solutions to the problems encountered, and to determine the situations that students experience. Accordingly, the main purpose of the research is to determine the metaphor perceptions of the 2nd grade students studying at primary school department of education fculty. In the research, fact science pattern was used in accordance with the qualitative research method. The study was carried out with 2nd grade students who were trained at Mehmet Akif Ersoy University in the fall semester of the 2016-2017 academic year. As the data collection tool, “Researcher ……. like this. Because …… ”were asked to complete the sentences formed. In the research findings, it was determined that they had positive thoughts for the researcher. As a result of the analysis of the data, 28 categories, have emerged. By bringing this category together, the themes of “researcher properties, positive contribution, the path of researcher, the researchers findings ” were created
