METAFICTION AS AN OPPORTUNITY IN POSTMODERN NARRATION AND ITS EFFECTS ON MURATHAN MUNGAN STORIES

Abstract

Author(s): Yusuf AYDOĞDU

This work focuses on the supremacy as a method of editing, its use in literary explanations, and the efforts to determine in which aspects superclusters are handled in Murathan Mungan's stories. The metaficition, which is at the head of the indispensable elements of postmodern literature, is a form of postmodern narrative that shows that the founder formed in a literary work is not real and that this founder has a fiction. Metafiction in general; Postmodern writers who see literature as a game should also express themselves in writing or in narration about how they form what they are describing or constructing because they see writing as part of the play. It is seen that in many stories of Murathan Mungan, who brought a different breath to the Turkish storytelling with the story he had received since the 1980s, it is seen from the understanding of postmodern art that he feeds on these elements. It appears that Mungan has created a tightly knit set of stories that do not easily reveal themselves in the first reading, especially with the possibilities of the supercluster, enriched by complex, intertwined, chronological order, backward, leap forward, consciousness flow and inner monologue techniques.
