MASNAVI AND FOLK STORIES COMPARISON IN TERMS OF STRUCTURE AND MOTIF

Turkish literature, the narrative our tradition, it was formed through certain stages. In the first cycle, the epics written and then their place of fairy tales, stories, novels and has received masnavi. Arabic expression which masnavi word was used for the first time in Iranian literature. By the researchers is a poetry in Arabic literature deemed to arise in the first instance. The equivalent in Arabic literature is "müzdevice". Terms of Masnavi and masnavi verse form, was transferred from the Turkish literature Persian literature. Especially the 11 and 19 centuries, it has been among the innumerable works of this genre. Folk tales, the most common form of public expression. After the type Epic has emerged.The oldest examples are the text we begin to see our literature from the 15th century. In this context, this study, Folk tales and stories of Masnavi will try to compare the structural and motif aspects.
