The structure of Islamic thought, journey’s meaning is quite different today has been gained. For people of today meaning of journey is visiting new places and having fun, but in ancient times, it is a gateway to the knowledge. Students who are traveling for knowledge, is waiting a number of problems such as hunger, disease, fatigue and death. Biography writers are indifferent to this kind of student's problems and they have expressed them in biyografical text. Visiting places for knowledge, scholarship of students, works [book, sharh (?erh), hashiye (ha?iye) , translation], taught students, patronage and ability of debate is a prestige image for the person who has been described in biographies. The purpose of this paper is to emphasize the importance of scientific journeys of biographical and autobiographical texts personalities considered to be the image of prestige to be able to point to some of the elements.
