The purpose of this study was to research the effects of socio-demographic characteristics, psychological resilience and coping strategies on the state/trait anxiety level of the infertility patients and to examine their correlations. In ?zmir and Manisa provinces, the data of 315 voluntary infertility patients was treated in private and public institutions were analyzed. Demografic Form prepared by researchers, the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), the Connor-Davidson Psychological Durability Scale (CD-RISC) and the Turkish Version of Ways of Coping (WOC-TR) were applied to the participants. Women were found to have a high level of state/trait anxiety, a low psychological resilience, and a high emotional focus. There is also a positive relationship between state/trait anxiety and emotionfocused ways of coping and negative relations between resilience and active ways of coping. Social work needs to be more active in this area.
