KHEREID A FAMILY IN ILKHANID GOVERNMENT: ALINAQ NOYAN AND AMIR QURMISHI

Cengiz Khan’s battle started peaceful relation with Khereid Tribes in the beginning of his existence, and then it proceeded during the history of Mongol. Especially, when Hulagu Khan reached west side of their land Khereid Governor’s started to get very important roles in Ilkhanid Government’s each level. Alinaq Noyan was one of the most important headmen, who served head of soldier class to Ilkhanid Government, he started as a commander of thousand and his caption was increase dramatically during his life, however as a result of throne struggle they lost this scramble and then he was killed by others. After the Alinaq; Amir Qurmishi came up to prime minister. Amir Qurmishi also started to battle as his father in Ghazan Khan Period and then he came up to one of the most important leader in the country. Unfortunately, Qurmishi also lost campaign against to Amir Coban, who got the management of government because of Abu Said’s age. As a result of this period, Qurmishi were executed in Sultaniye. This study mainly gives information about military and political proceeding about the people who played important role in Ilkhanid History as a part of family Khereid: Alinaq Noyan and Amir Qurmishi.
