INVESTIGATION OF STUDENTS’ OPTIONS OF PARTICIPATING COMPUTERIZED ADATIVE TESTING AND PAPER-PENCIL TESTING

The purpose of this study is to examine the opinion of students who took computerized adaptive (CAT) and paper-pencil testing. This research was made on the opinions of 205 students in 2013-2014 fall semester. Data collection tool was developed by researcher based on the opinion of experts and literatures. Descriptive statistic and Crammer V coefficient was used in data’s analysis. The research design is the type of survey. According to the findings of the study,view of the students were not significant a difference by gender (except sixth item). Students have thought that answering of the question paper-pencil test of in a certain time creating anxiety. According to daily computer usage time also examined the views of students , students who are more than daily computer usage time stated that choosing question reading on computer screen. According to research’s concludes, CAT applications in general to increase the students’s motivation so it can be said that students might choose CAT applications. .
