Manisa Manuscript Library, T.C. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Authoring Works Authority operates in Manisa, depending on the Konya Regional Directorate. The historical, cultural and artistic values and historical and cultural values of the Manisa Manuscript Library, dating back centuries are; There are more than 8,000 manuscripts and more than 9,000 printed works in Arabic, Persian and Ottoman Turkish. These works are of Turkish Traditional Art; It contains and represents precious and rare examples of art, marbling, gilding, calligraphy and miniature arts. In this study, Manisa Manuscript Library is intended to examine and present the manuscripts of the Manuscripts (leather) in the Akhisar Zeynelzade Collection. For this purpose, we have studied the historical background of Turkish Bookbinding Art which has a very important place-value in terms of Turkish Bookbinding Art and represent the valuable examples of Turkish Bookbinding Art. In the scope of the study, leather bookbinding samples belonging to manuscript works; the materials used in the construction and decoration of the bookbindings, ornamentation techniques applied on the bookbindings, the ornamentation techniques, motifs and composition properties, such as the qualitative properties of a total of eight manuscript works of bookbinding examined, documented with photographs were tried to be introduced. In addition, the manuscript works; The information about the qualitative features such as the scope, the periods they belong to and the names of the works are arranged and explained based on the data in the archive inventories. Although there is no definite history of the time when the leather boookbinding covers covering the manuscripts were written and when the manuscript works were bound, the dating information referred to in the study refers only to the periods in which the manuscript works belonged.
