INVESTIGATION OF EMPATHY TENDENCY OF TEACHER CANDIDATES ACCORDING TO SOME VARIABLES

The teacher is not only students who transfer information but also he is the one who taught to his/her students that questioning, critical thinking, various events around the world and look forversatile, be able to use their empathic listening method. Therefore, in this study we aimed to reveal the empathic tendencies of teachers candidate. The research is carry out 124 pre-school and elementary school teachers candidate at 2014-2015 academic year in Ondokuz Mayis University. In this study used "Ka-Si Empathic Tendency Scale" developed by Kaya ve Siyez and developed by researcher open-ended questionnaire. As a result of research we find out that there are a significantly vary according to family income level (SED) and department variables but there are not a significantly vary according to gender, age and the place where he/she spent his/her life the empathic tendencies of teachers candidate. In the study, we aimed to reveal that empathic perceptions of teacher canditade with open-ended questions. In the result of content analysis, reveal that it is compatible with the literature of emphatic perceptions of the teacher candidates.
