The aim of this research is to examine whether the level of acceptance of violence of university students varies according to gender, grade level, school achievement, parental education levels and romantic relationship views, self-esteem and attitudes towards social gender roles. The sample is composed of 705 (Female = 454 Male = 251) students who attended ?nönü University Faculty of Education during 2016-2017 Education Spring Semester. In this study, the Inter-pair Violence Acceptance Scale, the Rosenberg SelfEsteem Scale, the Gender Roles Attitude Scale, and the Personal Information Form were used as data collection tools. The findings of the research show that university students 'acceptance levels of violence among couples differ according to gender, school success, parents' opinions about romantic relationship, self-esteem and attitudes towards social gender roles.
