The purpose of this research is to determine what level of students' academic achievement is, in terms of different variables, in the learning areas of Production, Distribution and Consumption that is located in the sixth grade in social studies course. In the study, conducted by survey model, one of quantitative research methods, academic achievement test developed by the researcher is used as a data collection tool. According to the results, students' overall academic average in the learning areas of Production, Distribution and Consumption have been found to be moderate. it has been determined that as for the variables, the increasing education level of students' mother increases students' academic success and that academic average of students living in cities is higher than that of students living in villages; however, the difference is statistically not in a significant level. it has been determined that the academic performance of female students is statistically in a significant level higher than that of male students and that increasing parent education level and family income level also increase statistically in general students' academic average significantly.
