The aim of this study is to examine Self-Regulation Strategies and Motivational Beliefs of 5th Grade Students Based on In-Class Activities and Academic Success Levels in Science Course. Mixed research approach was accepted in the study which quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques are used collectively. Data are collected in the research through “In-Class Activity Scale for Children”, “Motivational Strategies Scale Based on Learning” and “Interview Form”. Also, science and technology course year end grade averages of fourth and fifth classes are used for the purpose of determining academic successes of science and technology course of students in the research group. Research results indicated that students whose activity and success levels are higher have higher selfregulation strategy usage, self-efficacy perceptions and intrinsic value perceptions when compared with other students.
