IN THE 100TH YEAR OF DEATH TEVFK FKRET FROM IRAQ TURKMENINTELLECTUAL’S ITEM

One of the pioneers of Servet-i Fünûn literature is Tevfik Fikret. He, together with Cenab ahebeddin, was the most influential poet in this era. Therefore, many articles were written about him both during his period and in the following years. In this study; Tevfik Fikret will be explained throughth eyes of Hashim Nahit in consequence of his 100th anniversary of the death. Hashim Nahit, who is an Iraqi Turkmen intellectual, had sometimes made possitive and sometimes negative commnets about Tevfik Fikret as a result of his lyrical disposition. This situation is a result of the inconstansy of both Tevfik Fikret’s and Hashim Nahit’s thoughts
