Except to give aesthetic pleasure the literary texts are the source of the idea regarding to communities, authors, periods and personalities. The topics studied by the authors and their styles can be used as a compass for getting a sociological result. At the same time this also plays a significant role for understanding the authors interpretation of human and life. In this essay, Re?at Nuri Güntekin’s works will be examined in regard to his approaches to foreigners and non-muslims, the humanistic approach of the author will be proved and in this sense, the status of the author in his period will be examined.
