Textgenre, text type and text tone are usually used at grouping of texts. But they can't be present at all texts distinctly. On the other hand, text tone that interests especially reader has a special place for receiver. Texts in various tones create a different impression in all readers and they aim to sense thoughts and feelings in the reality of life for readers. Text tones that are acquired thoughts and feelings wealthily, assist to distinguish about the realities of life and people for students. Nevertheless texts in various tones have a spiritual side in terms of experience, recognition and detection of various feelings of students. In this context, the question that "what are the thoughts and feelings that students sense by the way of tones of the listening texts in the Turkish text books" will form the basis of our work. After the literature review were reached very limited resources in terms of text tones and text tones as illustrated by the metaphor could not be reached in any study. With this research, the field is expected to gain a different perspective.
