There is a decrease in the quality of the word in the modern age. This constitutes the agenda of the artisans. One of these artists is Abdurrahim Karakoç. The poet who lived between 1932-2012 was one of the important items of Turkish literature. The poet has 12 books of poems and a collection of his articles. Karakoç's poem book entitled Ak?l Karaya Vurdu, published in 2000, contains rich ideas about the culture of conversation. For example, in his poems titled Müzelik ?ehir and ?nsanlar?n Dram?, the decline of the level of word is explained. The reason for the decrease in the level of the word is the decrease in the value of the idea. Crowded of people without ideas cheer up and applaud every word. The decline of the word even influenced the greetings of Islam. Abdurrahim Karakoç states in his poem Hikâye-i Farz?muhal inde that the beautiful speech will find a quality personality from a quality personality. According to the poem, one of the ugly conversations is the talk of the minions who can go ashore. Also, one should not listen to any words that he has not approved by his own mind. In his poem “ Bu Mevtay? Nas?l Tan?rs?n?z? “ the artist continues to explore the relationship between speech and morality. Attention shall be drawn to the deception of the depraved people, their perjury and their arrogance in their speech. Another ugly dimension of speech in Karakoç poems is to lie frequently. In his poems Neler Yapt?k Nas?l Geldik Bugüne, Bu Düzen ve Röportaj which are the idea of the wily politicians in our country for 50 years, by lying, cheating people think that the idea. Abdurrahim Karakoç believes that the language cannot express everything. For example, in the poem “Dünyay? Dara?ac?ndan Seyretmek”, he points out that neither the word nor the number can express the glories of monotheism and dwarfism. The poet also cares about the reasoning, place and time. In this study, the poetry book named Abdurrahim Karakoç's Ak?l Karaya Vurdu will be examined in the context of speech by using document analysis method.
