HUMAN FOCUSED JOURNALISM IN TURKISH MEDIA: IN CASE OF THE NEWS ABOUT ANKARA MASSACRE

Issues of reality in news, how long and how represents, writing in a context of protecting human rights are starting point an important part of the critical works in field of communication. This study’s aim is revealing reporting of the human rights record that in the context of the selected sample representing a critical perspective from Turkey newspapers. So, the study’s ?ssues are news about attack in ‘Peace Meeting’ in Ankara on October 10, 2015. In this study, Hürriyet, Yeni Akit, Radikla, Cumhuriyet, Milliyet and Zaman examined how evaluated their headline by method of content analysis of attack in Ankara between 10 to 15 October 2015. These categories are defined while examining news in newspapers: Number of news, attitudes of news, language of news and frequencies of news. Finally, according to the resarch, many news that examined are not written approach of human rights-based. For this issue, important suggestions are represented for process of editorial.
