HADITH'S PERSPECTIVE AND HADITH'S PERSPECTIVE

Abstract

Author(s): Zekeriya EFE

As in the early days, discussions about hadith still continue today. These debates have at times been scientific as well as
ideological at times. In addition, these discussions were sometimes made over the position of the prophet in religion, and sometimes
continued with the soundness of the hadiths under the influence of the orientalists, thus reaching the issue of the bindingness and value
of the hadiths. Considering that hadiths have a say as the second source for the construction of religion, it can be accepted as natural
that there are such discussions (when good intentions are nurtured). For, hadiths have a great role in shaping the religion of Islam.
However, considering the emergence and course of the discussions, it is seen that the situation is not due to good intentions. It can be
mentioned that there are some factors that underlie the discussion of the hadiths. The acceptance of hadiths as the second source in
terms of the religion of Islam attracted the attention of those who attacked the religion, and it was seen that it was decided that the
destruction should be started from here in order to render the religion ineffective and unauthorized. With this in mind, hadiths were
attacked. However, because of the fact that (the vast majority) of the hadiths are verbally transmitted (they have consciousness), those
who work in this field on the subject of destruction, taking into account the possibility that there are some doubts in terms of their
health, are astonished by the orientalists who are faced with many measures in terms of the soundness of the hadiths. Because the
scholars took many precautions as a result of their hard and meticulous work and determined principles in this direction. As a result,
some groups do not see hadiths separate from the first source, while others have very different views. Considering all these situations,
the victimization and sacrifice of hadiths will be understood more clearly. Both interpretatively and verbally, hadiths were sacrificed to
factional conflicts and were attacked by orientalists.
