GOAL SETTING IN EDUCATION

The position, level or condition which a person or a society wants to reach is called “target”. Environment (school and family), intelligence, economic status, ability, adjustment capacity, motivation and psychological condition factors are effective on student’s achieving of their target. Target is the most important source of motivation which leads students to success. The target is a goal that required effort to achieve. Presence of educators leading this goal appropriately, makes the student to reach the goal easily. Since target is a situation that reached as a result of a process, it needs following some of the steps respectively. In order to students achieve their goals, following these steps increases the the possibility of accessibility.
