Cevat ?akir Kabaa?açl?/Halikarnas Bal?kç?s? is known “sea way” writer in our literature, the center of his work is the sea and people earn their living from sea. Halikarnas Bal?kç?s? is in his works clearly shows his love for nature, especially sea and sea people, and is used this elements frequently. For this reason in his works often appears to be significant similarities between event, person and place. In our study is examined the author’s works of Gülen Ada and Gülen Adam by comparison and is tries to show similarities between two works and from this point general features of his works. In our study we examined two of the story of the author’s work as seen in many, based on contrast of sea and land from this concept in his stories was built on contrast of sea people-land people, joy-anger, love-money and nature-technology.
