Islâm religion, benefits from many methods while driving human being to the good and right in the process of guidance. When we have a glance at the history of Islâm, Prophet Mohammad (p.) used gabfest in guidance. After the period of Messenger of Allah, many sufis referred gabfest as an important guidance method while training their followers with the emergence of sects and sufis. In this study, we will primarily scrutinize gabfest from Islâmic aspect, importance of gabfest in sufism, gabfest method and gabfest participants while we address gabfest term as sufistic guidance method. Finally we will prove how gabfest works by analyzing the differences between sermon and gabfest.
