FROM HOMELAND TO ANATOLIA: GETTING A GIRL MARRIED

When Turkish people came to Anatolia region from their homeland, they brought their feelings, thoughts and experiences too, and that means a huge culture accumulation of hundreds of years. When they were building their new country, they made use of other people’s culture to keep pace with them, and sometimes, they created their new ones. They carried their culture, accumulation, traditions and customs to everywhere they have gone (wedding ceremonies, funerals, eating and drinking habits, respecting to elder ones, rights of younger ones and such...). In Turkish traditions (toy), families frequently get their girls married with good and strong groom of families that they love, and bot bride and groom can be satisfied with that event. Rarely, that event can be concluded with blind dates. In this study prepared by using the screening method, the limitations and limitations of the ability to derive the language in terms of social needs will be investigated.
