Abstract

Author(s): Şakir FURAL

Köprü Çay? Basin, located in the south of Turkey in the Mediterranean region of Antalya and Isparta province borders. Firstly, a detailed literature review was carried out. Afterwards, field studies were arranged in order to get the coordinates for the mapping operations and to observe the fluvial topography characteristics of the site. Afterwards, the location, drainage network and general geomorphology map of the site were prepared by Arc Map 10.5 software and the findings were evaluated in the result section. When the findings of the study were evaluated, it was seen that the river network, which started to be established in the Mezozoik period in the Köprü Çay? Basin, was buried to its bed as a result of the transgression at the end of the Neogene and that it started to erode the limestone and conglomerates of the Miocene period detected.
