FIRST COMPOSITIONS IN THE DIVINE FORM OF YUNUS EMRE LYRICS

Abstract

Author(s): Funda ESÄ°N

Yunus Emre is one of the greatest defenders of Sufism, a thought system in Anatolia. In his poems he drew with the thought of Sufism, he was mainly a theme to Allah and Hz. He expressed his love for the prophet in a Turkish language that people can understand from all walks of life. The poems that coincided with the philosophical foundations of Turkish music attracted the attention of composers and many poems were composed in Divine form and brought to Turkish Sufi music. In this article, 46 compositions were mentioned as the oldest compositions of Yunus Emre poems, but among these 46 compositions, the notes of the compositions and the known composers were given. In addition, the stylistic features seen in Yunus Emre's poems and the reasons that aroused the desire to compose these poems were emphasized in the composers. Since there was no use of notes in the beginning, the compositions that were later passed to the tota have undergone very little change, but have survived to the present day by maintaining its simple, sincere and lyrical structure. The poems of Yunus Emre , a mutawatif who has shaped his life through love, giving lasting messages on the basis of love and tolerance and who have not lost anything from the value of seven hundred years, will always be loved, read and composed on his poems, will continue to add spiritual wealth to the hearts of Turkish Sufi music.
