In this research, it is aimed to investigate the efficiency of the coating presses of wood based boards and to perform the performance ranking of the three production lines selected. Because sheet products are mostly used in the production of serial furniture. Therefore, coating and increasing the value of the material surface in these board products (particle board, MDF, plywood) is important in terms of improving both aesthetic and resistance properties. In this research, it is stated that wood based panel production sector and coated plate production are made. In addition, the evaluation of the efficiency of coated sheet production machines is explained by a sectoral application. These machines are the machines which apply impregnated paper to MDF, particle board and HDF products as raw sheet, mainly short stork and continuous presses which are used as the main element of temperature and pressure in sheet coating technology. In this research, a study was carried out on presses called short cycle presses. Then, the performance ranking of the selected three production lines was made by PROMETHEE method. In the conclusion part, improvement suggestions of the production lines are stated.
