Enis Batur, who wrote ecpecially about poerty, art, culture and philosiphy also wrote about poetics. He defends a poetics which is avant-garde for mentioned-term Turkey and keeps orginality of poetry and systematics against socialist realism which was a dominant understanding of art in 1970’s. Going to abroad, knowing environment of literature and art of West closer, criticizing environment of art and literature of Turkey with philosophical and religious perspectives like existentialism, psychoanalysis, linguistics, anthropology, mythology, makes his poetics understanding away from socialist realism. He expresses this understanding of poetry in ?iir ve ?deoloji and Ars Poetice concretely comprehensively. First of these works is wrotten as prose and a research, and the second one is poetry which is wrotten as verse. Despite of being different genres, Batur deals with history of poetry. He defends that despite of poetry/poet being important at the beginning, lost their importance with the effect of not being transformed as economic material. Batur, who underlines that exclusion of poetry, thinks that poetry has to keep its own oppositional and revolutionary aspect without being engaged any ideological discourse with the help of internal dynamics of itself. Poetry which includes the idea of revolution, has to grow away from vernacular, and has to achieve an opposite language and discourse.
