A prejudice free form of gazing toward research data is often quoted to be the hallmark of a good reliable and valid cultural research work. Such view is catholically accepted by many in research circles, and it has turned the notion into a kind of myth. As part of the need to de-mystify such idea, this article suggests the important of embracing cultural research data with prejudices (and biases) in a qualitative fieldwork.
