Elmal?l? Hamdi Yaz?r has been known as a interpreter -for the holy Quran- (mufessir) and his personality in kelam has not been taken into consideration hitherto. We think that his famous interpretation is the reason for this. But in fact he has a near relation with kelam (utterance) and also with the philosophy. Elmal?l? has come a decision that the philosophy is servicing to Islam in his deeply searches in philosophical texts. Elmal?l? who turned towards to philosophy for supporting believe's issues and thinks in kelam, is a significant kelam scholar. He has a near relation also with Islamic mysticism and philosophical sides. We can say that he focused on kelam, Islamic mysticism and philosophy in his studies and ideas. Elmal?l?, while he was writing his interpretation of the Quran in kelam issues, has mostly trusted to the stipulation about pursuing Sunni/Maturidi-Hanefi ideology school.
