In this study, is aimed to be determined works and sociologists, Westren sociology ecol, effect?ve on first available texts of belonging to thought of the music sociology ?n Turkey. The data to be obtained in study, firstly, is important to shed light on the historical journey of music sociology in Turkey. Also the sociology of music, because it is one of the relative sub-branches of sociology, the determinatios to be made are also important for the history of Turkish sociology. Therefore, within the conceptual framework of the research firstly, is examined thought of western sociology effective on thought of Turkish sociological. After that, following the chronological order, respectively Ziya Gökalp, ?smail Hakk? Baltac?o?lu, Mahmut Rag?p Gazimihal, Halil Bedii Yönetken, Ziyaeddin Fahri F?nd?ko?lu ve Nurettin ?azi Kösemihal’s are examined music sociology views. In order to discuss Gökalp's role on Atatürk's musical ideas, in the section about of the Gökalp, is given place Atatürk's musical ideas. Data of this research, is obtained using the literature review technique of qualitative research method. As a result of the research, western sociology ecol, sociologs and their works, were determined to have a dominant role the first text on the sociology of music in Turkey.
